James Janisse

The smooth, resonating voice and in-depth knowledge of jazz has earned James Janisse the role and respect as one of the most prominent MC’s and announcers for live jazz and blues events in Southern California.

From the festival and club scene to corporate voiceovers, if it’s related to jazz and blues, he’s regarded as a master at the microphone live or in studio. He developed a loyal fan base during his tenure as an on-air personality with radio station KKJZ, 88.1FM from 1992 to 2006.
