Our first show's opening act includes a live Big Band, and is hosted by Bill A. Jones and jazz vocalist Martha Taylor LaCroix. Watch swing dancers perform a tribute to tap dancer Chance Taylor, and enjoy a jazz band featuring L.A.'s finest jazz singers. Come learn from pros who have sung with Stevie Wonder and Bette Midler in a two hour Backup Singer Workshop. Showcase your vocal talent in a Karaoke/Open Mic Contest with a live band as backup and celebrity judges to rate your performance! Make your own contribution to suicide prevention by entering the Best Original Song Contest with a song that includes a suicide prevention or anti-bullying message. Rap, hip hop, spoken word, and live art performances are all a part of this show's lineup, as well as an indie rock band, a young jazz artist band, and a salsa band!
