After a very successful career in England as a composer, pianist, lyricist, and vocalist, Paul Horner came to Los Angeles for a three week vacation. He stayed, and three years later had a multimillion dollar show that he composed the music for open on Broadway. The show was called Peg, and starred Peggy Lee. The score was described by Variety as “Virtually flawless” and “A panoramic view of terrific musicianship.”
Paul has written music and lyrics to hundreds of songs. Artists who have recorded them run the gamut, from Peggy Lee to Michael Feinstein, and Regina Spektor to George C. Scott as General Patton. He is currently composing music and lyrics for two Broadway shows: Maggie and Jiggs, and You’re Dead, Get Over It!
